OUR PROMISES TO YOU:

  • We'll only use your data to enhance and improve your experience with us, we don't sell anything to third parties.

  • We only keep the data that is needed as part of our normal order processing operations or marketing communications. When we no longer need the data we'll remove it.

This means your card’s security/CVV code, this is processed by a secure payment provider and we do not keep your card details.

  • To take payment, and give refunds

This means a history of what you’ve said to us and what we’ve said to you for example, emails to each other or live chat information.

How do we use this information?

  • To provide customer service and support, we have to do this to perform our contract with you and it helps us provide you with a better service.

Purchase history and saved items

This includes what you’ve bought and what you’ve stored in your basket for another time

How do we use this information?

  • We need to store this information in order to perform our contract with you, as you need to be able to store things in your basket to purchase them. We also use this information for customer service and support and to handle refunds or issues with orders, something we need to do to perform our contract with you.

Information about your phone or laptop, and how you use our website and app

Information you give us when you browse our site, includes your IP address and device type.

How do we use this information?

  • This is used to improve our website offering and enable a better shopping experience for you. We will also use this to protect our website from malicious users or cyber attacks.

A note about guest lists and guests addresses for wedding stationery

It is an option for you to provide us with information about your wedding, such as the date, venue, a list of your guest names etc which we use to personalise your stationery. This can also sometimes include using the addresses of your guests to print on invitation envelopes.

By providing us with this information, we make the assumption that you have consent from your guests that you can share this information with us. We are unable to gain this consent from your guests ourselves, and so it is your responsibility to omit any information about any guests who do not wish it to be shared with us for use on your order.

Once this information has been provided to us, we will hold this information as securely as possible and use it exclusively to process your order. This information will not be used for any other purpose than to complete the part of your order for which it is required.

We do not sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. 

However, we do need to share your data with the following categories of companies as an essential part of being able to provide our services to you:

  • Companies that do things to get your purchases to you, such as payment service providers, delivery companies or order packers. (Royal Mail for example will need your address).

  • Online service providers, such as customer service software and website hosts who help us run our business.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Section 4 - Wix

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Section 5 - Third-party services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

Section 6 - Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
