When Ellie and Joe came to me with a request to create some table names for their favourite pubs, I jumped at the chance. Wedding stationery and pubs? Two of my favourite things!
Pubs are one of my favourite aspects of the UK. Never mind that our weather is terrible, our transport sucks and we have to steal everybody else's cuisine - that can be forgiven when you cozy up in your local on a dark winter's evening or soak up the atmosphere in a beer garden on a warm day. Pubs are places where we meet friends to catch up, celebrate, let off some steam, and make memories together.
It's why I think naming your wedding tables after your favourite pubs is an amazing idea - they're full of memories you've shared together with your partner and friends and family. They tell part of your story.
Ellie and Joe live in Islington, home to some of London's finest pubs. They picked their six favourites and wanted beautiful illustrations to represent the personality of each one.
Each one was lovingly designed by myself in Procreate. I loved creating the beautiful foliage outside the Hemingford Arms, the inviting stain glass windows of the Myddleton Arms and the regal ... of the Duchess of Kent.
Pairing with a classic font, the table name cards and seating plan came together beautifully.

If you have a unique idea for your wedding and want to bring it to life, please get in touch to discuss how I can help. From invitations to place name cards and seating plans - I love creating personal wedding themes to help tell your story on your wedding day.
